Family owned and operated, our ranch staffs only the most caring, compassionate, and professional equine individuals in North Carolina! 1 Oak is the culmination of our family’s love of horses and desire to start our own property to cater to these regal creatures and their owners. From the shores of the Mediterranean Sea to the western towns of the United States, our exposure to horses is deep-rooted and profound. With years of experience in riding lessons, competitive show jumping, training, and managing various barn properties throughout the U.S., we decided to settle down on the East coast and secure a ranch of our own where we could house and train our client’s horses.

With 14 acres of boarding, riding, and training grounds, our facility is equipped as a full service farmstead with both stall and pasture capacity. We offer lessons to children and adults alike, as well as horse training to suit your individual needs. We even have affordable options for those just learning about riding who aren’t quite ready to invest fully in their own horse, but still want the convenience of having a designated horse to ride.

Equine is our passion and you can tell from the attentive care we give each and every horse on our estate that horse life is our life!
